Someone at the Ryanair press conference in Lamezia (about the new routes from there) said this: "Perhaps the greatest news of today is the official confirmation that a Ryanair base in Calabria is formally in the pipeline for the near future"
I think this might take some time, don't you think so? The question is.. what is the near future ;)

A Ryanair base in Calabria .... as far as I know, there are 3 airports in Calabria :
