Regarding Ryanair Ponta Delgada base (Azores), do you know the future of the base? Is it to remain with one aircraft and 3 routes or there is room for expansion?

For the moment there hasn't been any announcement or news on Ponta Delgada base.
I suppose it will stay as it currently is until further notice.

Thanks for the feedback. In the meanwhile Ryanair announced that will be flying from Ponta Delgada to Frankfurt from March to October. Well done Ryanair

Very good news. Is there any news on domestic flights within the Azores?

If they start domestic flights in the Azores, they might also consider domestic flights in the Canary Islands. It would be interesting to see what happens.

I don't see Ryanair operating domestic flights within Azores. I think the routes are some kind of PSO. Besides the runways are very short and limited in aids. Just my 2 cents.

Yes, true. They might not open domestic routes within the Azores due to runway constraints.

Apparently in the Azores due to a devolved parliament and exemption from the open skies routes must be negotiated, Ryanair were negotiating with the Azores government but it's gone quiet for now

It would be great to see more destinations from the Azores and Ponta Delgada base expanding.
